The Pass Rate for Male and Female Candidates in the 2024 AP SSC Results
The Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) announced its Class 10th AP SSC results on April 22, 2024. The pass rate for male candidates in the 2024 AP SSC results is 84.32 percent, an improvement from last year’s 72.26% in 2023 and 64.02% in 2022. Students can check the Class 10 or AP SSC results on the official website, results.bse.ap.gov.in. Improvement in Pass Percentage
The pass percentage has improved from last year, with a total of 6,16,615 students appearing for the board exam this year. The gender-wise pass percentage is 89.17 percent for boys and 89.17% for girls. A total of 534574 students have passed the board exams this year, with a total of 534574 students appearing out of the 6.54 lakh registered candidates. The AP SSC Class 10 examination was conducted between March 18 and March 30, with over 6.3 lakh students appearing. Notably, the AP board offered audio question papers for visually impaired students. Last year, English-medium students outperformed Telugu-medium students, with 3,49,673 passing, an 80.82% pass rate.
Best-Performing District
In Telugu, 1,68,107 students took the exam, with 84,047 passing, resulting in a 50% pass rate. The AP SSC Class 10th examination began on March 18 and concluded on March 30, 2024. The exam was held in a single shift on all days, from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm. The SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations, 2024, are scheduled to be conducted from May 24 to June 3, 2024. The pass percentages for the AP SSC Class 10th 2024 include 86.69% for girls and 84.32% for boys. Parvathipuram Manyam district emerged victorious with a pass rate of 96.37%, followed closely by Srikakulam and YSR districts with scores of 93.35% and 92.1%, respectively.
Subject-wise Performance Analysis
Subject-wise performance analysis revealed that several subjects were tested with varying pass percentages. The first language had the highest pass rate at 96.47%, followed by mathematics at 93.33% and general science at 91.29%. Social Studies had the highest pass rate at 95.34%. The evaluation process for the AP Class 10 exams saw 6,30,633 students appear, with 25,000 teachers appointed for the process. Evaluation centers were set up in all 26 districts, and the Board assessed that a maximum of 900 evaluators were present at each center this year to ensure efficiency.
